After the state certification in 1991, the Institute was transformed into the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University.

Currently, the University is a major research and educational center in the region. It works for the needs of the population and production of three regions of Western Siberia: Novosibirsk, Kemerovo and Tomsk.
Over the years, the University has trained about 70 thousand specialists for agricultural enterprises, who work in many regions of the Russian Federation and abroad. Their success and achievements are the best proof of the University's authority, quality and competitiveness of its educational programs.
